Even in a place where English is taught from kindergarten to university, we still see boo-boos in English signs. In a mall in Hong Kong, as part of the celebration of Emperor Group’s 70th Anniversary and “presumably” Easter, they put up an sign that says “Happy Eatser”. As English is my second language I checked the dictionary to ensure I am right. Right! “Eatser” is not a word to promote the eateries in the mall!
